I had been breaking some place when developing the base...this time i would like to drill a hole here....it was right over the top...drilling a hole will result in all wild plant and hatch farm dying from my prediction. the problem was too much water,it is a pain to clear every time I open one.espeially there was a few more open top plus a salt water volcano. did anyone got a better strategy other then building a big big pool below. Just trap two gasses above the pump, and then this thing can slurp up the entire ocean, and then some. Or you could do something more "realistic" and not use 1 element per tile ONI physics. You could also build a huge storage area under your base, and then let the ocean drain to there. If you choose to do this, I strongly recommend learning how to force the water to teleport, instead of bead, as it falls (just the top portion of the image above, the part above the pump), so that you can make the water fall directly down through 1 column of mesh tiles, and not interact with anything. That will require learning more ONI physics. Or, open a pit to lava, and let it all fall in a glorious mess. See what happens. I bet the ocean will win. If not, you can always reload. You force the liquid to first move a few tiles right through a 1 tile tall channel. It will not bead when falling down. I would build the intake directly next to the ocean so the ocean doesn't get to drain too rapidly. Probably when I need to drop an ocean I will have a door with buffer to reduce dropping rates.
