M.C.
Is there a way post-launch to enable the debug mode without revealing the entire map? I want to remove some annoying indestructible POI structures (it's ridiculous that we still can't deconstruct them!), but I really don't care for the inevitable FPS drop that comes with revealing the map. qda
There are two mods that may be of interest to you : - Deconstructable POI props : let's you deconstruct the annoying, although modern and sleek, furniture - Another one (can't remember the name) that does exactly what you asked, not revealing the map when entering debug mode. Both can be found in the steam workshop, although they might not work for a few days due to release, haven't checked them yet.
Yunru
Sandbox mode would work.

I don't remember using it my latest save, but I'm not getting any achievements. It's a pain, because I'm specifically trying to get Carnivore on Rime and this would throw a wrench into my plans. On a related topic, if you do know where this info is saved, do you know how to change it back to 'false'? Especially now that duplicity is working again? If duplicity doesn't allow that, the only way to do it is programmatically (say via a mod). But I'd check the save editor first

But I'd check the save editor first I spent last night going through every different section of the save editor and even in places such as "GameInfo" or "GameSettings" or "ColonyAchievements" (or something like that) I couldn't see anything relating to debug being used. Only GameSettings (I think) had "sandbox: false". I read somewhere that someone used a hex editor and found a line that said "debugWasUsed" but he didn't know where the value was stored and if it could be changed.
