How to check if the rocket is docked?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I have a system that pumps LOX to my rocket but the pump is up all the time and I would like it to work only when the rocket is docked/waiting for more LOX.

Is there any automation that can check if the rocket is in dock?

just have it recirc with a bridge that gives priority to return flow.  pump will only pump when it needs to.  I have the return go through the lox to cool it down from any small gain in the pipe.

Good use for the memory automation circuit. The S/R output goes to the pump. use the automation signal from a space scanner detecting the rocket landing to the "S" input. Use a liquid element detector looking for your fuel passing the input (indicating its full) to hit the "R" input.
