  1. As is, rocket fuel determines how far we can travel through space. I think I'd prefer it if instead it determined how quickly we travel through space, with petroleum and hydrogen being twice and thrice as fast as steam, respectively. So if the closest planets take take a steam engine 3 cycles to reach and the furthest take 30, then a petroleum engine could make those same trips in 2 and 20 cycles and a hydrogen engine would take just 1 and 10. This gives us the option of making repeated deep space runs practical if we choose to go the hydrogen route without making earlier tech obsolete should we choose to rely on existing infrastructure.
  2. How is a rocket normally handled in real life? Its build in a hangar, then moved to the launch site. No one builds the rocket directly, open air, at the launch site. (because techs dont like rain?) How about some kind of conveyor system for rockets? We build the rocket in a hangar, make changes there, refresh the paint... And then its transportet to a launch tube. Sure, you say, we can just build several launch bays. But thats no fun. And yes i´m aware, it will most likely not happen, because reasons. But i would love to see such a mechanic ingame.
  3. What are the most important planets / asteroids / etc. to have in a star map? Since you can see the star maps on the seed browser website now and skip unfavourable ones.
  4. I haven't found a good guide anywhere for how to do a simple setup with a rocket. I have tried building my first rocket but all the automations and new features are confusing me about how to even launch the ship. So far this is what I have for the bare bones setup. I have an astronaut almost ready but I can't understand how to connect the bunker doors with the scanner to close them when a meteor shower comes. Also, I understand if I am unprepared to start a rocket launch but my colony has become fully sustainable and the next venture is space travel. Would really love feedback or pictures on how to setup a rocket. Thanks again.
  5. It would be nice to be able to build unmanned rockets, perhaps requiring some high-tier research and/or advanced materials. I mainly want this as I like to run low-dupe count colonies, but that becomes impossible when you want to fly a lot of rockets simultaneously.
