EDIT : oups sorry, good reading of your post, but bad reading of the title. If volcanos pop randomly, I think it does. If volcanos pop because of the volcano trait, I think it doesn't. By the way didn't call numbers to check this opinion. Just using my sense of logic, so could be wrong. Not sure how exactly are the yaml-defined worlds/subworlds/biomes/etc. linked, but it looks like they're not replacements but new geysers. SakuraKoi Posted July 16, 2019 Share Posted July 16, 2019 They don't replace random geysers or those which are set to spawn in subworlds. Traits with subworlds (aka biomes) spawn before traits with only features and the POI and random geysers on top of them. Additionally all magma subworlds come with a tag which reads: - NoGlobalFeatureSpawning which entails at least random geysers but quite possibly traits as well. This explains why one can find random geysers very obviously in a frozen core but not the normal one. The later assumption is based on finding neigh boulder in the magma when having all 4 boulder traits.
