Brine and Salt Water

Recommended Posts

They have different properties for heat transfer and yet they look almost like the same color when mixed together. Idk If I love it.

I used sandbox to freeze some salt water and when it melted I got some brine back instead.

It would be cool to see what people tinkered around these two new elements. I'm overwhelmed by all the new stuff.

"Freezing" salt water turns it into 90% solid ice, and 10% liquid brine.

Brine boils to 36% salt, 64% steam.

Salt water boils to 2% salt, 98% steam.

Desalinator turns brine into 30% salt, 70% water, and salt water into 7% salt, 93% water.

this makes no sense ...

Why? Is it the numbers?

oh, sorry, didnt see the first line "freezing salt water converts it into 90% ice and 10% brine", so i thought that freezing salt water converted some of the water into salt

what i still dont understand, is that you get more salt from boiling brine than desalinating it.

and more salt from desalinating salt water than boiling it.

Isn't this like the difference in Water and Dirt between Sieving Polluted Water, and Boiling it?
