In all my generated new worlds with geodes I have similar obsidian huge area with rare things inside. But always I trying to creating world with geodes and only have huge obsidian aggregation. Maybe just unlucky genereted worlds then. From what I've heard from a couple other forums users that typically know what they're talking about, the only way to get world trait changes to actually stick is to go into customize and change the seed. Looks like clicking on the planet just changes the display and not the actual world generation...
