simonchvz
Do any of our patient reloaders/code divers know what the default guaranteed geysers are for each asteroid type? I was surprised on poking through an arboria asteroid to see only 1 of the standard open cool steam vents and 1 open gas geyser. Went back and checked the Terran map type and it looked the way it used to (2 cool steam and 1 each of NG and chlorine), so it might just be following the old 1 water+ 1 NG in a swamp + 1 water + 1 NG/chlorine in a caustic rule, and losing the swamp in mapgen means that the guarantees go away too. Not that I'm opposed to lower-water mapgens, just wasn't thematically expecting 1kg/sec on a forest map. Will make some choices a lot more pressing for expanding beyond 8-10 dupes. SakuraKoi
Well, each type of asteroid now gets 12 random geysers (instead of 6-8) to make up for possibly losing two (or more depending on whether boulders indeed are generated last or just later). Namely only one, the default Forest (Code FRST-A) has no marsh and only one jungle. Being the only losing one. Badlands (BAD-A) also has no marsh but two jungles. Any other one has one kind of marsh and one kind of jungle. Gurgel
There is also a new one, the saltwater geyser. It seems to give 30C saltwater and hence can also be used for cooling.
