The 2C3D Posted June 20, 2019 Share Posted June 20, 2019 The Forge was a limited time event where people got together in groups of 6 on special dedicated servers outside of the regular Don’t Starve Together servers, where survival mode continued as per normal. You would all spawn on a platform and fight waves of mods using weapons with special abilities. After you defeated all the waves of mobs, you would win the game. If all six players died, it was game over. It has been recreated in the mod everyone else mentioned. Interestingly, it and the sequel event, The Gorge, are part of the games canon, and are what happen in the lore/story after the survivors use the ancient gateway.
