reymint Posted May 26, 2019 Share Posted May 26, 2019 recently i bought don't starve together for my computer and wanted to put my Xbox account on to my steam account and for whatever reason i thought that deleting my account would help me to replace the steam account with the Xbox account. i now know that i made a dumb mistake and cannot put my Xbox account on to my steam account. thanks to anyone that can help me with this problem. I'd love to make linking PC and Xbox accounts a thing. Maybe someday.... Stand on top of the building which Klei resides in and use a megaphone? Hire a stunt plane... no, two stunt planes with a message on the end of both of them? When they delete account, do they mean their Klei User account? And there's a distinction between PC Klei User Accounts from XBOX Klei User Accounts, correct? I think adding more Confirmation Prompts during deletion: With a short Q&A might help. Why are you deleting your account? A. I want to link my xbox account to my steam account B. I want to completely remove my account If A is selected prompt appears "Xbox account cannot be linked to Steam account". If B is selected, then deletion proceeds as per usual. The whole thing is a little vague for me though concerning the confusion of users in general. Hopefully the Q&A thing might mitigate future mistakes (if I even understood the situation correctly). "Hey, before you delete this account, we just want you to know it's probably not a good idea." Joke aside, maybe a mini survey? Questions, ask them why they're deleting, and/or what they hope to get out of it?
