A bit of a necro-post, but I found out you can use the charge attack on the Joust-a-Dash and equip another item for better crowd control, damage, or saving durability. This would probably do well on Wolfgang, and for stacking the Void Cowl's damage?

Hm... I wonder...

Yep, just checked, it triggers Wormwood's planar perks if you do this.

It also works with ranged weapons.

Spoiler

"It's not full auto, this is."

I just realized Wanda could probably dash through a herd of Shadow Splumonkey with her Alarming Clock.

Dunno about "unknown", but Wigfrid has a combo (or a swap character use) for Warly. Her Battle Saddle already applies 40% damage resistance, and this stacks with garlicky steamed twigs's 33% damage resistance for a grand total of 73%, which allows you to face-tank Feastclops and only lose a small fraction of your beefalo's HP. The combo is actually stronger than the Nightmare Saddle is without garlic (though Warly still benefits from the Nightmare Saddle more, of course, because then he can make his beefalo have a whopping 93% damage resistance, which'd make the tier 3 Shadow Rook's attack only do 11.55 damage).

Getting 73% damage reduction for a beefalo is pretty good for something you can do in early winter without killing any bosses.

WX-78 tips (not unknown mechanics, but anyway)

1. If you thought you can hide from hound wave the boat with WX "transfer conciousness", you are wronng. Hounds will come even if you're in deep waters if you hear them barking, so better don't try to cheese.

2. If you have beta-circuits skills, one ice-circuit will allow you to live if fumarole biom without any issues related to overheating. Probably WX-78 is the best character for cleaning this biom since for other characters it's quite a costly visit.

3. After creating a backup body in ruins you can deliver all seed from fumarole there and transfer conciousness between nightmare cicles to gather tons of tulecite fragments and other nice loot. WX-78 is very efficient farming this.

4. Some people don't know for unknown reason that hitting a voltgoat with an electric weapon / fence will electrify them. This is good sorce of electric milk so if for any reason your battery is low, it's nice to have a WX-78 backup with lightning protection and morning star there. Then just deliver milk where you need it.

5. Since you'll be capturing rabbits anyways and look for gems as WX, make sure to craft Prestihatitator and create an ice-staff as soon as possible.Ice staffs are super useful for WX-78: aggro voltgoat from distance at daytime if you need urgent electric milk, freeze catcoon/bird/rabbit/moleworm etc for scanning - it's cheaper than pan flute eatly game, so use it.

WX can store lucky horseshoes in his expanded slot, and they still work even if the slot loses its charge.

Just found out that you can put the eyebone or starsky inside the transport drone to transfer more items

That's a good one, though if you happen to have a shadow chester and a Maxwell chest, you can transfer items freely back and forth that way, too.
