darkhero Posted May 23, 2019 Share Posted May 23, 2019 hi since i never saw anybody use this little guy. i was curious about your opinions here. i personaly dont use it because its hard to keep feeding it, and if you dont, it make a mess. ash and coal is not very easy to get. Viktor234 Posted May 23, 2019 Share Posted May 23, 2019 Hard to maintain, burns bases, doesn't follow you if you dc and drops almost only once every year (33% chance to drop from Dragonfly + little chance from Klaus) If you like it, just play as Willow and your lighter will grant you everything the pet grants you. It disappears when you disconnect, then reappears when you reconnect. Ash is pretty easy to get, you can just burn lightbulbs/lichen/pinecones/wood to make ash. Nonetheless this little fellow randomly starting fires makes him very unappealing to say the least. Parusoid Posted May 23, 2019 Share Posted May 23, 2019 It's extremely useful in winter. You can survive with only thermal stone and bunch of ashes for whole season, no need for winter cloth. Outside of season just bundle it and unwrap next winter (so it does not eat, burn and yiy don't have to hatch it again). In late game you have so much Ash from fire hounds waves that it's easy to feed the creature. If not then burn some sticks, rot or grass that you should also have in abundance in late game.
