TheOnlyGuyEver
Right now the Farmer Pigs don't really do anything other than act as a weak source of income. So, I just had this thought of how to make them pretty darn useful. Farmer Pigs would automatically collect any crops (grass, twigs, berries, coffee, etc) around their home (say, about a bit less than a whole screen), and give them to you once you come by. Why not make them actually farm, y'know? Hell, perhaps they could even automatically fertilize any crops in the event they wither up.
FreyaMaluk
I like this idea but if they did that would be a bit OP. I think we could "hire" them for it. Maybe they can be payed in food or oincs... like one oinc/meat per day? and if you leave them oincs on the floor they pick only one for the day and get to work. -Variant
Okay, take your idea, and enhance it a smidge. Giving it to the player for no reason is odd. What if they had barrels, or crates they continue to put their resources into. You can pay them to take from it, or you can steal from it, making guards upset and summoning Krampus. Mooagain
How about the key to the city let’s us build farmhouses and those farmers automatically harvest stuff for us. Like Wilbur’s monkeys.
Charsis
I think you should able to give 10 oinc coin and that hire them for harvesting stuff for you (but not owned crops of course). The hire could last half a day may be.
