Ham only has 3 confirmed characters, Wilba, Wormwood, and the new one. [REDACTED] was removed. That 4th character was confirmed to be for base game DS, no DLCs needed to play them, not for Hamlet. The current news given by Klei says that 2 New characters will be added to the game, and one of them will be available to the whole game rather then just a DLC. it doesn't matter if it is a DLC or not, new characters always come with a new DLC and they can be either for the whole game or just the DLC. Every instance of new characters being added thus far have only been for DLC's rather than basegame though, so this is the first time in years we've seen a new character added that everyone can play and doesn't need to own DLC. Winona is DST exclusive and now Wagstaff, her boss will be DS exclusive. also Klei maybe cutting itself some slack by just giving 3 New characters for their new DLC cause Wagstaff is for the whole game. I don't think so, if Klei ever decide to exchange any character between DS/DST, the community will explode and want other characters inside as soon as possible. and Wagstaff IS the character that's gonna fill the role from the lack of Winona in DS. Winona has files for the Diving rod.Wagstaff may be able to craft it.She used to say Is this how the bossman disappeared?That got changed in At least I assembled this right.Also she says Just like In the bossman s workshop when examining a diving rod holder.It may be that Wagstaff created the portals in ds and got captured by Charlie before reaching Maxwell.
