oiramldx7
In Hamlet Wigfrid speaketh in ye olde english much like thy pigs, but quotes for items that were already in RoG she speaks normal english. Example: RoG: "Dö yöu nöt hunger för battle, pig?" Hamlet: "This tree döth 'Tis the hand öf a giant?" I haven't played Shipwrecked or Together but if this quirk started in one of those the point still stands that her old quotes need updating. Mueck
If I remember correctly, the old English was introduced for Wigfrid in Don't Starve Together?
Machine Reaper
its randomized in order to show she is not a real Valkyrie nor someone how speaks ye~old English as a langauge, She is an Actress so she acts sometimes with her surroundings, other times she will revert to Modern English when encountered with real odd stuff. like breaking the 4th wall etc.
oCrapaCreeper
According to Kristi (DST's writer), she didn't work on this DLC. That could part of it. To a degree it makes sense since Wigfrid is only acting, even if she takes it far.
sinisterrkid
There is a different team working on Hamlet ( i *think*), so there are divergences. Wigfrid speaking old english makes zero sense. Viking.
Donke60
I guess now people don't understand dramatization. or the fact that most people lack the skills to speak nordic languges or the fact that this is a text based game for voices. meaning that you couldn't just throw nordic or icelandic dialect in there an it make sense.
