DST skins not showing up on Steam inventory??

So,my friend had to disable Steam Guard for a while and it seems after doing that DST skins are not showing up on Steam,while it does in-game and usable.What's the problem here?

Go to https://accounts.klei.com and make sure the "Hide inventory" button for DST is unchecked.

We've been getting a lot of people turning on inventory hiding and then sending support requests asking why their inventory is not visible on steam. Can you tell me, do you know how we could make this easier for people in the future? Is it not clear what that checkbox does, and we need to improve the language?

If the user has enabled the hide inventory feature via their Klei account, is it possible to have a message pop on steam itself when said user is checking their hidden inventory via steam? The user could have hidden their inventory via their Klei account, but then forgot that they've enabled such a feature and/or can't remember how to undo this. (I say that cause even I forgot that my Klei and Steam accounts are linked : P). 

Maybe the message to show up on steam could be something like "You have hidden your items associated to this Klei game from Steam via your Klei account. If you wish to make your inventory visible again, simply go to https://accounts.klei.com and make sure the "Hide Inventory" button for the affected games are unchecked."

The cause of the support requests may very well be for another reason, but at least this way people can know why their inventory was hidden on via the steam platform itself and now know how they could make their inventory visible again.

On another note, what about this for the message on hiding one's steam inventory? :

just try this option to hide/show, but nothing changes on steam, even after log off/in

what exactly i have to do for this option, or its wotks not instant and after some time ( few hrs, day or something) ?

It takes effect the next time you launch DST.

No, we don't control steam, we can only do what their APIs allow.
