explain "updating" as in change the file ? because right now I click on my new updated folder with all the changes hit all the checkboxes and when I click Publish it say Error mod cannot have the same modinfo. and when I try to change my modinfo into something new it still say the same thing. -

Name: Tohsaka rin Ability: Call down a Heroic Spirit into the Don't Starve Universe and have then use their amazing abilities to help turn the tide. the actual skill that would appearing would be Caladborg II (requires red+blue gem + 50 hunger to use) Which is basicly a "arrow being shot from a distance and doing massive destruction destroying anything in its path with a huge explosion" The arrow is very similar to a giant spear and the animation of it coming down is similar to a meteor falling down to earth. The closest thing that come close to this skill is Bigfoot and the old bell. So far I just took snapshots of what the mob consist of right now. Just a custom skin and what may be added later in game.

so I finally solved my worst nemesis Glitch So while editing my character "sprite" or lets just say face and then launch steam. The changes I made to the character was not updated into the game. The reason why this happened in the first place is that 1 or multiple .png (images of your character) has been corrupted. I call it corrupted because I don't know how else to explain it. It worked before but suddenly now it doesn't. And when you open that corrupted file into photoshop or paint or w.e editing program you have it'll say this .png is not supported for that software. Does anyone know a short cut on figuring out which file is corrupted? Because it took me 2 and half hours of copying each individual body part into a new esctemplate folder until eventually I found the corrupted file. (basicly I was thinking I saved the image wrong so I tried re-saving all my .png as a .png)

well first off the template is out dated and doesn't work anymore. New coding or tutorial is needed to make it work. as for the Wigfrid template Im sure its up for grabs somewhere in the code files. so you both basicly have the same problem which is "where to find" the original template of pre made characters. go to your "Don't Starve Together" Folder actually I'll just paste the image of it lol. but basicly go to these folders. -
Custom character retexture problems

while using your editing program or (lets just say photoshop) did you make sure to delete everything but the hair? Sometime when you try to delete the white background you miss some spots and it shows up on the character once you launch it in because in don't starve there is no such thing as a "transparant" image. -

this is what I would call remodeling a character. Meaning I want this character to look different. Meaning "you must edit each image of that character the way you want to" So technically the "esctemplate" or creating your own character tutorial should suffice on doing what you want to do. If you check the video it should be around the 11 min mark where you edit the character. -
would it be possible to "freeze" an image of character during death animation and have that be the "skeleton" that get left behind instead? It would be funny to watch a bunch of dead characters around instead of unidentifiable bones
