Look at the text, and contents, last line; you have polluted water inside in. + normal water. I dont know how you managed that...

This is why it want to empty it. --- Like the farming tiles.

And i think you dont have polluted  water drop off/emptying point.

Still doesn't get emptied even with that.

Algae terrariums now produce polluted water. 200g/s iirc.

Oh.. the polluted water is new to me... (not using terrarium too much, and in the prev i dont use at all :) )

Ok, tested.

yes, the emptying priority is not the same as the delivery. there is a bug or something:

The default priority was 6-7. They deliver the stuff normally.

When need to empty, they don't care it.

Cranked up the priority to 8-9, then they emptied it.

----

Finally, they emptied it on normal priority too.

But seemingly they don't hurry with it... they take their time..

----

I don't know its intended or not: they don't emptying completely. Just one bottle.

But the priority on it is.

Are you saying that the fact emptying the terrarium is an Empty Storage task that falls under Tidy, while delivering of fresh water is a Delivery task that falls under Life Support?

I don't understand the question you're asking...

What I'm saying is, if I have the terrarium set to priority 7, and they deliver water to it at the same rate that is required of a priority 7 task, emptying it should be done at the exact same priority level; a priority 7 task.

Or at least put in a dedicated empty button on it, so that I can schedule the task, and put it on the dupes' radar.

Spoiler

Oh, and btw, from what I've tested, they don't even empty it out when they're idle!

There are two levels of priorities, the task priorities (life support, tidy, etc) and the subpriorities (1-9). The game follows task priorities first, then uses subpriorities typically as a tie breaker. What people have been doing is ignoring the task priorities and setting only the subprioirites; set to 9 they start to outweigh task priorities. If the supplying of water and the emptying of water fall into two different tasks, and the player sets those to be different, then you’ll get the effect that is described. What the devs should do is place the emptying of a terrarium under the same task as supplying it, that way it runs smoothly and no changes to the subpriority would be required.

Set it to 9, changed their priorities, and they're still not emptying it.
