Compost balm lilly?

Recommended Posts

Reed fiber has more uses in the next patch. But still no continous use. After you are done with decor, clothes and exosuits you can safely stockpile it for lategame super insulation production.

Would be cool to have a use for balm lillies late game though.

Even with medicine use, I still swim in them and that's only from wild population! You can farm it for free. Could be nice dirt source or something. Maybe juicer for some juice to improve dupe free time activities?

Lily juice! Healthy small snack!

Those medical plants can help fighting diseases by processing that into medicines. May be add more diseases (Outbreak MKII?) to increase the frequency to use the lily.

it should be an option.  we're left with the choice of sweeping it up and having tons of it uselessly stored or lettting it lie around being ugly (not just decor).   when diseases get fleshed out this will still stand - we need a way to get rid of excess.  protecting players from stupidly destroying materials is not in tune with the game mechanics after all..

Hmm.   juiced plants for food and a morale adjustment (malus for meal wood, etc)  nice idea.  I came here to request composting of all these darn balm lilies and found your post.
