      UPDATED - Studio Note & Rhymes with Play Streams Temporarily Canceled.   03/06/2020

      UPDATE (3/19/20): Just a quick note regarding the team at Klei Entertainment. As noted previously, everybody at Klei Entertainment is working from home due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Many of us have been working especially hard to help maintain operations as we all move out of the office and into our homes and with everything being done online, extra time must be spent in organizing conversations and trying to maintain communication. As some of you may know, we have a very open office and we are almost always in contact with each other as we go about our days. Some of us work across multiple teams and that work has become a bit more challenging for everybody.   That being said, at this time the transition has not caused any major disruption in our operations, but it would be overly optimistic to expect that we won't have any delays at all. We're going to have to be especially mindful about this in the coming weeks and make sure we don't take on too much work so we can keep things running smoothly.  We will let you know as we see how these changes affect our timelines.  Thanks UPDATE (3/10/20):
      The test yesterday went well. We got the whole office (mostly) to work from home without significant issue. As a result, Klei Staff that can work from home have been asked to do so until further notice.  This means that we will have to cancel the Rhymes with Play stream until we are all back in the office. This shouldn't affect anything else at least in the short term, but if things change I will update you all here.  Original Post: Hey everybody,  This Tuesday March 10th, 2020 the entire staff at Klei will be working remotely for 1 day in an effort to prepare the studio to work remotely for a little while if the need arises.  Klei is already set up pretty well to allow for working remotely, however we are going to have a one day "dry run" with the whole studio so that we can identify and avoid any issues or downtime that may arise should choose to implement a work from home policy due to COVID-19 outbreak concerns. Unfortunately this does mean that we will be canceling the “Rhymes with Play” Art stream this coming Tuesday, however unless the situation changes we expect everything at the studio to be back to normal Wednesday and we’ll continue our regular stream schedule Thursday March 12th. If the situation changes at all, we'll let you know. Thanks for your understanding.

  1. While I asked to remove a seed in a hot place by composting it, I discovered that the temperature of the seed rest to 19.9 °C. Tested on meat in the oil biome :
  2. Is it not a number of stored critters ? If the pacus are swimming in the water, they are not "stored" in the fish release.
  3. Sparkle Streaker expiry causes crash

    Same here, but not sure it's linked to the same buff. I know lots of my duplicants have the "ballon buddy" buff (note I think this buff is just ugly :P) Here's my save : Parthenope.sav
  4. 6 steam turbines per line 4 lines 6 * 4 * 850 = .... 20 400 Oups ! You produce 400 w more than what the wire can support.
  5. If you turn the yellow alert on for a delivery supply (for example), the duplicant continue the delivery, even when breaktime occurs. (as far I see) And the problem is not here ! The yellow alert NEVER work for the command capsule, at ANY TIME.
  6. I wanted to launch a rocket before my breakdown time, so after assigning my astronaut to the command capsule I've setted the priority on the yellow alert. But the only astronaut was not automatically given the errand. And then ... the breakdown time has come...
  7. You don't understand. The errand for a duplicant assigned to a rocket is shown in the capsule. The screenshot only shows that even if the yellow alert is on, at breakdown there's no more errand, because it's not affected by the alert. Where others errands are active even at breakdown.
  8. "door compressor pump" is evil. Now you know that you should not use it as it's non intended to be used like this.
  9. After building a transit tube access, it says there's no tube connected but ... there is Maybe it a matter of order in the building. The tube on the left was build for a "long" time. I've deconstructed a section of this tube to make the crossing. So that is was made quickly, I put it on priority 9. My duplicant bring plastic for the crossing and also the first section above the access. And both were constructed at this moment, but the 2 other tube section and the access were not made. The acess was build befor the 2 last tube sections. The power line was already made before. Reloading the game solved the problem. Parthenope.sav
  10. I'm incubating sand in an incubator

    Also observed this bug. When yellow alert is turned on for a delivery task, if the selected duplicant allready carry something, he keeps it and deliver all the materials. Result give some weird situation like that.
  11. Also note that if pacu's can't reach the polluted water, so does a gulp fish breed in clean water. And so, it will not clean any polluted tile that could get inside the pond. Parthenope.sav

    Ruins can still collide with the Gravita lobby. In this case it's a shame I can't use this AETN without destoying the lobby. Hoppefully I have another one not far below. But it's 1 lost AETN. PS : you should prevent 2 AETN to pop in the same cold biome, so that they could be spread through the map. Parthenope.sav
  13. Not really a bug, but something to revise. I just found the Gravitas hall, and also notice that it was set on another special room. As you can see in the screen below, the computer desk has is top half part in the floor panels of the main door. I join the save file if usefull. Vesta.sav
  14. As said in the title, I just finished the research for the first rocket modules But the menu do not appear in the game. If I activate the sandbox mode, the menu appear with the "!" showing that modules have been unlocked. But once I close the sandbox mode, the menu dissappear. Reloading the game solved the problem.   15. The sink fills with water and then empties.

    A save file, for example. It would help devs. Hve you tried to break the loop on the clean water pipe ? In your screenshots it seem to go back to the starting point.
  16. I alway think it would be more efficient if we could also set an auto-bottle option on the pump, so we could have more than one pump and ask duplicant to use one instead of the other.
  17. My astronaut came back from the one-way travel to the Temporal Tear. I thought he had enough courage to pass through. So, at choice : - find a way to "kill" the duplicant and his rocket - modify the text relative to the Temporal Tear
  18. In my game, I have 2 volcanoes, so I've built steam turbine above. But I notice something strange. Even with a full tile of magma, when it cool down below the freezing temperature, it turns into packs of igenous rock, instead of making a solid tile. O_o As you can see, there's more than the amount needed to make a tile. And the first pack on the left has 10 tons cumulated : the tile produce a pack, magma fill the tile, it produce a pack, etc ... 10 tons ! As far I see, the magma produce a tile only if there's something above. it can even produce weird behavior, like this other volcano. In this room, the magma flow in 2 layers. As mentionned above, the first layer turns into solid tile, and the second was, at first, packs. It turns in a solid tile with burried object on reloading. And a second reloading gives another solid tile above.
  19. Not a bug. The errand is bound to the container/building where the material is going to be stored.
  20. No automation craft available

    This bug was already signaled. It seems to randomly affect the last building menu.
  21. Addendum : if I put enough water to completely fill the bottom tile and add some water on the second tile above, the bug dissappear. The molten glass push all the water in the bottom tile (creating a vaccum for a short time on the second tile). So to reproduce the bug, you need : a pool of 2 tiles, like in the screenshot water on the bottom tile a gas like carbon dioxide in the top tile and an other gaz above carbon dioxide
  22. I've set up a basic glass forge with a small pool of water to freeze the molten glass. But I have to refill the pool periodically. Looking at the behavior of this water when molten glass falls in, I notice that the amount of water decrease with each packet of molten glass. As you can see above, there's 87.5 kg before the molten glass packets fall inside the pool. After that ... Only 62.5 kg remains. And no steam around : 87.5 - 62.5 = 25 kg The forge produce 25 kg of molten glass : 2 packets of 10 kg of molten glass, plus 1 packet of 5 kg This means that each packet of molten glass, whenn falling into a tile of water, deletes an equivalent amount of water.   23. Coal Generators ignored by Duplicants

    It works fine for me. Are you surethe issue do not come from an other side ?
  24. Thimble reed seeds can't be planted in planter boxe, even if we can in standard farm tiles.
  25. I have notice that, in the bedroom ruins, the clock sensor and the weight plate are made out of copper ore, where these should be made out of refined copper. Parthenope.sav
