Circuit overloaded question

Hi, 

 

I'm getting circuit overloads all over my base. I've made split offs from the heavy watt wires as shown in the screenshot. Two machines both consuming 240 watts will still overload my 1 kilo watt wire. What am I missing?

Wire load is circuit specific. Not wire specific. You have 1168W load on your 1KW wire.

Unfortunately the game looks at the load on the whole circuit (everything not isolated by a transformer) to determine whether a wire is overloaded or not.  I think Saturnus just answered oh well ...

You just need to connect the heavy wires to power transformers. If theere was a transformer between the heavy wire and the normal one there wouldn`t be any overloads.
