Grydee Posted November 19, 2018 Share Posted November 19, 2018 I know this is due to the bugs, because Hamlet is still in early access, but I'm frustrated so I have to go on a little rant. So I was staying in the Palace island for a few days trying to trade Nightmare Fuels for Tenpiece Oincs. After getting a bunch of those, I decided to head back to the first island to buy food and stuffs. And that's where this hit me: I guess the vines on the other side has grown and blocked the way, and there's nothing I can do about it. So no entering, even if I swapped to machete and try to pass through. So I'm trapped on the Palace island, and I decided to try and survive there, just need to build the diner and I'm good to go. I was waiting for the Roc to taxi me back to his island so I can make my way out. After a couple of days, his shadow showed up, getting bigger and bigger and bigger by the minute. Only problem is, he's just circling around on top of me, refuses to land, in spite of me screaming "Beam me up, Scotty" for over a day. Any idea so I can make it out of that island? If its a bug. c_gonext("prefab") Change Prefab for a thing thats unique on the first island (like a building you made or something like that and you will instantly teleport to it. If you can see the first island from the 2nd island edge, you could also spawn something on the 1st island than teleport to it with: c_spawn("prefab", amount) (item will be created where your mouse cursor is) c_gonext("prefab") Also random question: How did you get that much honey by day 40... The Roc is probably not landing because you are in the City or the Deep Jungle. She doesn't like those places. If the door has vines, it should have them on both sides.. so it might not be vines. Maybe you were able to find a tricky way to get the pressure places to close the door behind you? They are supposed to be safe from that.. nomnom victory Posted November 20, 2018 Share Posted November 20, 2018 Look closely at the image, the problem here is Wolfgang can't smash locked doors and that's pretty unfair because Wolfgang doesn't have the brainpower of other characters. The clue that tells you that the door is locked is subtle but it's actually the big white words "It's Locked" above Wolfgang's head. When Wolfgang was blindly smashing his way out he stepped on a pressure plate which locked the doors and Wolfgang is intellectually incapable of figuring out how to solve a problem that he can't smash through. What I'm really saying is that Wolfgang is at a significant disadvantage compared to the other smarter characters and he needs to be buffed to be on a level playing field. CrimXane Posted November 20, 2018 Share Posted November 20, 2018 may i also add that Ro Bin is the reason. did u hear the click noise while entering the ruins ? also about RoC : that bug happened to me in one of my worlds, he didn't want to land i was outside of hamlets and jungles he keep circuling me i deleted him respawned another one before dusk hits she spawned but flew away when i tried to run here to chop down some trees just to abuse her legs she wasn't very happy and left lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And that's where this hit me: I had a similar problem to this once, but never happened again after a certain patch they released where vines don't grow back in caves while you're still inside them.
