Midnight Tea Posted November 11, 2018 Share Posted November 11, 2018 I'm kind of surprised there aren't bees, if you think about it, considering the Mesoamerican themes of Hamlet. The Mayans raised bees, even revered them. The descendants of the bees the Mayans raised are all over Central and South America. They don't make as much honey and aren't really "good" at that compared to honeybees, but they're unusually friendly for bees and don't have stingers capable of hurting humans.
