Madbro’s Thermo-Tech (take 2)

Ok, I’ve changed my display icon into a electric grill. It’s still me (•ω•)

 

I have issued a topic about my thermo-tech ideas about some time ago.

BUT,

I think my original idea is not enough.

Today let’s do the TAKE TWO.

 

1. Thermo-regulating raw supermaterials

Inspired by the molecular forge, I have some idea about some thermo-regulating (not focusing on conducting but temperature adjustment) materials.

Start with my first idea Tundra Ore, this freezing-cold ore comes from the coldest planets in the galaxy. Very freezing that it eats up all heat until around to -200°C, allows you to liquify oxygen for your oxydizing tank of your rocket (and bring ice age to your duplicants).

Alternatively I have Hearthrock that can be obtained from volcanic planets. Putting this into a oxygen or flammable enviornment will cause it to react and gives impressive heat that you can turn your steam turbine easily - It heats surroundings up to 950°C. Really da*n hot.

Both raw supermaterials are super-dangerous (may be add a new material category called ‘Highly-reactive materials’). I think it’ll need some safe packaging or stablizing - otherwise you cannot refine them through any facilities.

My idea: Stablizer Forge. Hope it can really manage to make a stablized form of those materials.

After stablizing them, you can forge them into other things useful or supply other machines.

 

2. The refining

You can’t leave a material useless, right?

Let’s continue this with the refining part. In the amazing Molecular Forge.

Stablized tundra ore can be refined into super-refrigerant for your liquifier.

Stablized hearthrock can be refined into blast powder (reacts better than hearthrock but more stablized), can be useful somewhere like industrial process such as smelting and manufacturing explosives.

 

3. Applicantions

Now let’s put them in use.

Super refrigerant is used in gas liquifier and global freezer (a super awesome device for cooling down the entire world on the asteroid.) Or even let duplicants develop their own Anti-Entropy Thermo Nullifier. Actually my original idea is cooling the super-hot ground at the rocket launching site.

Blast powder can be a combustion supporting material in rocket thrusters or used in super boilers for producing steam running the steam turbine, or even use it in a smelter (?).

Or, we can build a thermo-regulator to adjust the base temperature within a given temperature range.

 

How do you think about my (take 2) ideas?

Well i have a mercury cooler which you need to feed with liquid mercury and it puts out double the cold of the liquid heater. And i have the solid mercury plate which does cool on its own and neutralizes radioactivity. I also have to offer the radium plate which emits heat and radioactivity...

And used those unused materials in database?
