Gas Vents

It still works, and using this tactic allows incredibly easy infinite gas storages. Here's one of the most simple and compact designs:

Just drop a bit of snow in there, or some oil if you're worried about boiling/freezing. I sometimes put a wheezewort in the box to keep the pump from overheating, but with the advent of steel buildings this is not needed any longer.

One bottle of water, assuming it's full from a pitcher pump, is 200kg, or 100kg per tile for your 2 tiles.  You need to be under 2kg in each tile.  It takes a little practice to get it right.

Okay. I'll use an automated vent instead then. Thanks.

I just tried it but my vents say they're overpressurized. Two tiles wide, one bottle of water.

Try a single bit of snow dug from an ice biome. Make a container over the vents, set its max capacity to 1kg per vent you want to cover, and allow only snow in the box. Dupes will fill it, and it will melt and be perfect.
