Never seen that before. Just noticed the missing abyssalite... Oof... Got no protection from all those meteors (and the heat!) here... It is a surface liability now since it usually cuts in to a biome removing the abyssalite barrier. I was lucky to find it at cycle 70 and made an emergency multi layer wall with insulation to save the reamining parts of the biome under it. That is sad, I cheat my pants off when I find broken cold biomes bridging with icky warm ones, I fix it with a bit 'o matched abys.
