Slvrsrfr
If composting returns dirt on a 1:1 basis, and simply leaving pdirt to off-gas also converts it to(too?) dirt eventually. Is composting a false timesink? What am I missing? Is it that's it's quicker? That it returns it in 10kg lumps periodically/effectively? is there less mass lost due to less time off-gasing? Is it just for the str boost chance? I'm just trying to better understand the mechanic. D.L.S.
You mean leaving polluted dirt to off-gas will slowly decompose it to dirt and polluted oxygen? Does it really leave you dirt, i always thought it do direct convert to polluted oxygen? At some point it becomes simply dirt. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/95463-composting/#findComment-1083863 Share on other sites

That mass is preserved if you compost it. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/95463-composting/#findComment-1083952 Share on other sites
Gurgel
From my observations, it completely converts to polluted oxygen. It does take a long time though. ImpalerWrG
Test it in debug, put a few grams of polluted dirt in a vacuum chamber and when it's completely evaporated, measure the polluted oxygen. Kabrute
i've never seen pdirt leave anything behind, in all of my experiments(door pumps) it offgasses completely Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/95463-composting/#findComment-1084334 Share on other sites
