The bunker doors don't count as heavy machinery. I always put my bunker doors right above those scanners and have 100% scan quality. But the view of the sky is not ok in your picture. Your space scanner has not enough space to the left and right. @R9MX4 made a great data collection about cosmic stuff and so... Down there you will find how space scanners view the sky.
