Conveyor bridge material

Recommended Posts

All bridges are made from the same type of material as of the pipes/wires they connect, except for Conveyor rails. And this is a good cheat as rails require metal and thats not plenty. Anyway I myself use igneous rock conveyor bridges instead of rails, and save a ton on metal. This should be patched though.

There's actually an added benefit, or quirk if you will, of bridges, conveyor bridges included, and that is speed. Materials, gases, and liquids are instantly teleported from the input to the output so it's actually faster than a straight pipe or conveyor rail. See example below. Both shut off valves are turned on at the same time. The left pipe with bridges is already dripping out the vent while the right pipe isn't even halfway to the vent.
