Denisetwin
This keeps happening!! What is going on? At first I just thought it was playing the "grooming" animation but wrangling instead - and I thought finally, the Rancher is calling the drecko over to the point before he wrangles so that drecko doesn't fall, but no, drecko status shows being groomed... Jackblac
Its the grooming animation playing for some reason when a dupe is wrangling the excess critters for a critter dropoff. I have no idea why they use that animation Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/94591-grooming-at-critter-dropoff/#findComment-1074823 Share on other sites
BlueLance
IIRC the animation is the same but they do not get the buff, usually they just wrap them up and haul them off Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/94591-grooming-at-critter-dropoff/#findComment-1074831 Share on other sites
Sasza22
It`s a placeholder animation. They didn`t have one done for the critter wrangling at the point so thay used that one. Actually i read somewhere in the patchnotes that they finalized the wrangling animations or something. Maybe it`s a bug that they still use that one. I gotta check that. Edit: Quote Completed animations for wrangling, babies, bagged, and other unfinished critter business, details below Checked "below" and apparently there`s no new animation for wrangling at the dropoff. But if it's a placeholder animation why does the drecko status say "being groomed" and then the rancher does not wrangle, he finishes the grooming animation and then leaves. I`m not sure what`s happening there then. From my experiences the dupe does the animation nd the critter ends wrangled. I didn`t pay attention to what the tooltip is (i`ll do that next time i play). Your drecko is in chlorine and CO2 so maybe the dupe doesn`t finish the wrangling and walks away to catch breath so the critter doesn`t end wrangled. Really i`m not sure what`s the problem. It`s not happening to me. Do you have a grooming station nearby? What are the settings of the dropoff point?
