LeeJow Posted June 26, 2018 Share Posted June 26, 2018 Suggestion: I'm sad that you can not trade Event items, things that are no longer available are no longer possible to get trough trade / purchase ... I very much hope that this will be added that you can trade Event items with friends / other people! You can also buy them directly from Klei as well. No. It's never a nice addition to buy loot boxes. What makes you think that buying something with unknown contents is a good idea? Did you miss all that drama about paid loot boxes? It seems to have only died out fairly recently. Besides, you can just purchase the specific items you want anyhow. So buying loot boxes would be moot as long as that option exists. And removing the option to purchase event character skins in favor of loot boxes would just be a terrible idea. It's a predatory business practice that preys upon the consumer, making them spend more money then they would normally. I have no idea why anyone would ever consider this to be a good idea. Honestly I created my klei forums account during New Reign Beta phase to report The bugs at first, but after I got a bit into the community. So I might have missed quite a bit. I wasn't referring to a specific thread. A while back there was a lot of issues with loot boxes in general within the gaming industry as a whole. Some countries and U.S. states even considered loot boxes as gambling. You'll have to do the research on your own if you happened to miss all of that. Maxposting Posted August 12, 2018 Share Posted August 12, 2018 Actually law says loot boxes aren't gambling ( somewhere ) because they give you something even tho almost all the time it will result in drops with values propably 0.03 of cost of the box which is wtf I ain't paying tons for nones.
