Can't Delete Doors - Anyone Know How To Fix?

I think it's the top door in each stack.  Try putting a Ladder a little higher, so the Dupes hare standing higher up relative to the doors.  Could be line of sight issue, could be the bottom tile (in this case, the far one) needs to be reachable.  Probably similar to the situation where you can diagonally build some things (mostly single tile objects) but not others (larger than single tile).

It would seem that every structure has a "target" tile that Dupes must reach for Supplying, Operating, and Constructing/Deconstructing.  Often it's the same tile that the Power plug (and usually also Automation port) occupies.  So you can build Gas Pumps diagonally from the top right, but usually not from the other 3 directions, for example.

yea maybe its a bug. I built the ladders which they did right away but then they ignored the doors.

Actually figured it out. built a ladder down left side. fixed the whole issue with reaching the part they need to actually reach.Thanks again for your help!

Maybe this is stupid question: "have you tried reload the game?". I can't explain but many strange things works with simply reloading the game, probably you already did. Usually I deconstruct multiple doors like that while on open state, but you said already tried this. Oh, what next?

You can try deconstruct from other than right side. With that extra ladder in there, you can reach directly on top of the doors by deconstruct that mesh tile. Probably next thing to try is deconstruct from left side of the door.

 

Edit: Lol, didn't read that last line. Glad you solved it, pretty annoying that dupe has to reach base of the door.

I think there's a bug with how duplicants interact with the top and bottom of doors.  My dupes refused to cross the vertical airlock or deconstruct it.  I recommend submitting a bug report and then deconstructing the mesh tiles. 

I didn't see that you solved it when I wrote this.  Whoops.

 

try this. you need your dupes to access the "bottom" of the door, which is to the left. But they can't, because the door is locked shut by automation and they also can't stand on top (only one space of clearance)

So on the control wire for your doors install a toggle switch, it will force the doors open (builds in "ON" setting)

Then your dupes can walk inside the doors and deconstruct them.

Or, you could deconstruct all the structure around the doors so the dupes can move freely to the left of em. But that looks like more work.
