Lilalaunekuh
Thought solar panels don´t emit heat anymore. So where is the heat coming from ? (My solution right now is just insulating the solar panels) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/92026-solar-panel-cooling/#findComment-1050445 Share on other sites
SchlauFuchs
More details, are your panels out in space? is there meteor impact depris on them? DyingCrow
Build the solar panels on top of insulating tiles, or just in the air (it used to be possible, dunno if it still is) They overheat if the structure they were built upon is hot. There is no need to cool them down. Pay attention to the power grid, tho. If youre pulling wires directly from the panels to the bunker doors, they will conduct the heat from the doors to the solar panels. Id say its better if you build a grid with wires from the panels to batteries, and then up to the doors. Its much less effort to cool down the power distribution room, or you just build ugly and out in the atmosphere with no walls. SchlauFuchs
Since when do cables conduct heat? AFAIK heat does only get transferred via liquid or gas.
