Does the kiln need no fuel?

Why does not need the kiln fuel in the form of coal or electricity when melting ceramics? Until now, every kiln I've met needed some kind of energy.

If even lamps consume 10W in ONI, why not the kiln? Or did I miss something?

Now, Kiln don't need a dupe operation, and game animation was updated

A killn should burn some coal to do something, maybe 10Kg for each operation

Kiln take 40 sec for complet  a recipe. So, we can imagine that a kiln needs 120W = 120*40 = 4800 J for each operation

A coal generator provides 600 J for each 1 kg of coal. So, for 4800 J we need 4800/600 = 8 kg of coal.

Kiln could need 120 W or burn 5 kg of coal for each recipe ( I prefer the last one because I never use coal as power source)
 

PD: 10 kg of coal = 150 W (without power station buff. If you have a metal volcano, I think that it's better to need energy instead coal)
