Mutineer
Is heat destroyed when you use hot hydrogen in the generator? One can heat it up to 100 degrees or so, that could be a lot of heat nullified if it works. FIXBUGFIXBUGFIX
yes. the temperature of output material of most machine is not relevant on the input. so inputting hot material to machine is a useful strategy to control heat. Alfons100
Yes, that is the case. But considering that you're destroying a lot of precious hydrogen, I'm not sure if thats a perfectly viable method Polluted Water can already hold a lot more heat power, put it through a sieve, Carbon Skimmer, and there you go. 40*C pollutedwater that you can use once again. Pull it through an Aquatuner and it should make it 25*C which is definitely sufficient. Soulwind
You can heat it up to a lot more than 100... Yes, consuming a material will destroy any heat it contains. There are a couple of caveats to that though. Most machines have an internal storage and the material sitting in the storage will transfer it's heat to the machine. Also some machines output at the same temp as the input (NG gens put out co2 and ph2o at the same temp as the input gas), others have a fixed output temp (water sieve). The h2 gen is great in that it doesn't have an output, so it's really good at deleting heat. I always try to dump some heat into any h2 destined for the generators and any ph20 destined for the sieves or fert makers Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/90756-is-heat-destroyed-when-you-use-hot-hydrogen-in-generator/#findComment-1034788 Share on other sites

Soulwind
ahh yes, i misstated that. Thanks. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/90756-is-heat-destroyed-when-you-use-hot-hydrogen-in-generator/#findComment-1034792 Share on other sites
