In the latest CU update, the output of geysers have a big change. That means the percent calculator is pretty outdated now, sorry. I have sent new code to my friend yesterday, but Im not sure when he will have time to check it.

That is the explanation for "better than 99% of same type geyser" :)

Your NG geyser outputs 72kg NG per cycle. I assume you use high pressure vent to store them, so you need 3.6 tiles to store the 72kg NG.

Ah, ok 20 kg/tile is for high pressure vent! Could it be a toggle menu to change it between 20 and 1.8 ?

No plastic yet, so I'm on normal vent (max 1.8 kg pressure), therefore 40 tiles needed per cycle ! Your gizmo is definitely very usefull. I lov it.

Hypothesis:

120 g/s - 90 g/s (nat gas gen) = 30 g/s

30 g/s x 600 s = 18 000 g/cycle

Normal vent : 1800 g/s

10 tiles per cycle (minimum)

I better set up a second generator then :)

The max pressure of ng geyser is 5kg, so 5kg might be more meaningful than 1.8kg.

Anyway, I will tell your idea to my friend.

btw, my friend just taught me how to debug the percent calculator online. So I spend hour to finish it.

The percent calculator now is updated to CU version!!!

Very quick update of your calculator !

I do have this "cosmic update" line, but same result, "better than 99%".

May be it is a great geyser after all (or stats not reset?)

Just a coincidence.

It was written by me and also partly outdated. But since I decide to hate math from today, I believe this explanation will stay in Ranch I forever.

If the adjusted per second rate of a NatGas Geyser is 120 g/s, that's actually pretty great.  The highest I've see on my personal seed hunting is 101.9 g/s.  They seem to average between ~87 g/s and ~104 g/s.  So you're basically guaranteed continuous running of a single NatGas Gen per NatGas Geyser.

I got a very simple script to do that. Here is a sample output for a nat gas geyser

This source can handle 12.1449792038 Nat Gas Generators
Average amount per cycle: 1093.04812834 g
Total amount during active period: 207.44920354 kg
Tiles required at 5kg/tile: 41.489840708
Average amount during eruption: 2325.66371681 g/s

Consumers of natgas polluted water and water are handled atm.

You can also give a name to the geyser you will calculate for and the output will be automatically saved to a file for further reference.

If anyone else considers a command line tool the better option, please write back, so we can extend it. (I doubt my maths)

Cheers everyone :)
