ArunPrasath Posted May 6, 2018 Share Posted May 6, 2018 Hi All, I feel that its time to ramp up the map. Slowdown in gameplay doesn't seem to be from the map size, rather from buildings. So my suggestions are: 1. Ocean Biome - Has a lot of water. Has alien-ish coral reefs (where the new fish resides). Currently, our new pacu fish doesn't look nice in a small pool of pol water. Its own biome will make it seem more at home. Suggestion: current pacu fish can be made purple and reside in these corals. Also a new water submerged plant is needed. New Fish - electric eel perhaps - lives in pure water? 2. Lava Biome - we already have lava at the bottom. Rather than leaving it there useless (at least the the mid and bottom portions are useless coz its surrounded by neutronium), it can be made into a biome with pockets of goodies between them. Use - currently i can only think of using the magma for power production. Added Suggestion: Just like the thermal heat nullifier, we can have a geothermal plant at the bottom of the map giving renewable power continuously. 3. Fertile Biome - Supplementing our Farmer's Station, the soil here is made of alluvial soil (should be added as new element in game). If used instead of fertilizer, it will last for several cycles with x2 growth. If used for constructing, It should take a lot of soil and should give a constant boost to plant growth (farm and hydroponic tiles). Can contain plants in it to give it a biome look. 4. Mineral Biome - not exactly a biome, Its a concentration of a high density minerals (2000kg+) spread out randomly over the map - similar to diamond deposits in the map. I still think my idea of duplicants stuck in a planet is more plausible than in an asteroid. ALL asteroids are completely devoid of heat and suffer collisions in real life. Depicting as a planet is much more likely and more believable. Any suggestions are welcome.
