New Background Picture for Entire map required

Recommended Posts

Hi There,

currently, there is an overall generated background picture for the entire map. But once we've started destroying biomes and constructing bases in them, their look doesn't change. Eg: the ice biome still shows as bluish in that region where it used to exist. A better method is preferable to this.

Perhaps a common mild brown background can be given after our base components are constructed over the tile (with some radius and as well as room consideration)?

But please do change the current generated picture. Once we've started building bases and rooms over it, it should show up in different colour. If we were to remove them later on (ie, remove the entire room/that part of base) the background should revert to the old colour in a cycle.

That’s sounds like a rather complex request for something as simple as a background, but it is a good idea.

I personally would opt for a checkbox under graphics: “Show Backround”. Unchecking it off would change it to a flat black or brown with no highlighting. I would use that from the start, but that’s just me :) Cheers!

I honestly think the background should be flat neutronium texture, maybe shaded differently.

Technically if nothing else exists on the tile, the only thing you would see in the background would be the outside edges of the base in the distance not space.
