Belisaere
When I first built my NG Gens they worked and now all of a sudden they aren't working. Any ideas as to why? Soulwind
Just a guess, but it looks like the room is over pressured with CO2 and they can't vent anymore. Since NGG are reliant on an exhaust vent (unlike the Coal Gens), they must have enough air space. Use some CO2 Scrubbers to clear the air or pipe the CO2 out to other uses. beowulf2010
Yeah, somehow your CO2 line is backed up. Get that cleared up and they'll go back to working. Gravityx
Can't see where the top of your CO2 line is going, but its clearly backed up. The reason it isn't going down is because of how pipeflow works. Check out this post & try using bridges to help flow. Lifegrow
Hey! That's me in that ancient thread @Belisaere Packets moving within pipes have changed a lot since May last year, So I drew you a quick picture which should help your gas flow in the immediate : Spoiler Disconnect the pipe where I scribbled the black line, then make your gas filters green output the main pipe, and bridge into it from the NGG's output. As long as the filter pipe doesn't carry too much CO2, you should be fine. All this does is consolidates the NGG's outputs into one feed, which will try and merge into the filter output pipe. If however the filter pipe backs up, you're in trouble.... A word of advise - this game is changing frequently, so try and keep your reference information current. The wikis are normally outdated, and most guides are too. Check for current forum threads or videos is your best bet Hope that helps, good luck! Kasuha
I'm not sure if a bridge will solve the problem. We see too little of the pipe in question to tell. It may be either the whatever-you-use-to-get-rid-of-the-CO2 stopped working, or you extended the pipe and added some inputs/outputs that confused the routing. Belisaere
thanks everyone, I eventually just deleted everything and re worked the gas flow, CO2 wasn't blocked at the vent, only 900g and was using high pressure vent. I think it was just a misdirection on the line at the first gen on bottom that it just wouldn't flow right Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/89706-ng-gen-not-working-properly/#findComment-1027741 Share on other sites
