irOninfernO
I have full batteries. The wire is connected. so why my two section of the base is not powered up? avc15
it looks like your heavi watt main isn't connected to any power source. FYI crossings at a heavi joint plate don't count as electrical connections, they're more like bridges. DyingCrow
Probably overlooked something somewhere, but cant tell as the picture doesnt show everything. Neotuck
The only thing I see powering your heavy watt wires is a hydrogen generator and if you are supplying that with the hydrogen from electrolyzers then you are not being energy efficient enough to have them self relent Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/89634-need-some-help-on-power/#findComment-1024566 Share on other sites
FR4NK
Power can only move one way through transformers. Put some batteries on the heavy-watt wire side. PhailRaptor
A few things.... 1) we aren't able to see the whole power grid, so it's possible -- or even likely -- that we're missing something, or several things. Hard to say. 2) while you could easily chalk this up to a bug, powered Mech Doors do not actually need power -- they run just fine without it, so you are bleeding power every time they open, which is wasteful 3) I only see 1 section of your grid that is unpowered, the upper Berry Farm room, but it looks like you have some manner of switch controlling it, in the top left immediately next to the Airflow Tile wall, so you have something turning it off there 4) if you are referring to the many wire sections that are in yellow, it is likely a result of how the game processes information regarding Transformers -- anything on the low end will always show as "strained", it's just how they work 5) as Neotuck pointed out, the only actual source of power we can see in this image is the single Hydrogen Generator, which has nowhere near the power output to keep up with the number of machines that are visible in this image, not even looking at the needlessly powered Doors or the Pharma Pods So yeah... need more screenshots to diagnose any potential problems. Jigsawn
I did spot one thing, on the bottom left under the cancel icon, you have a normal wire crossing the heavy wire without using a wire bridge. In my experience this will transfer power from the heavy watt to the normal wire. If so it's possible you have machines draining all your power from the normal wire circuit. One way to check what buildings are hooked up to a circuit, and what the overall power demand the circuit has, is to click on a wire and go to the Energy tab. Maybe you can troubleshoot that way. You can also see what power generators are actually making power, which could be the problem. Last I recall, they can do that without consequence Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/89634-need-some-help-on-power/#findComment-1024880 Share on other sites

If you tried to run regular Wire through them without a Wire Bridge, they would join the circuits. I do not recall if that bug has been fixed or not. Mutineer
I just want to note that Using that much of heavy wire is very wasteful, not even talking about beauty effect. Just cost in metal is ridiculous. It is much better to use transformators to provide energy outside main energy generator circuit.
