old_fantom
With the new geysers, I am wondering if the PO geyser is going to fry a puff farm. PO at 500 degrees seems incompatible with life. BlueLance
Yeah, your pufts would die, they are 400kg of mass versus the small amount of gas that the geyser outputs, but it would go up and eventually finish it off. FIXBUGFIXBUGFIX
Creatures should die, but they don't die correctly now. Before devs claim it is a new feature, I suggest we consider it as a bug. superhappyfun
Pufts will die if their body temperature reaches below -30C or above 70C. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/89147-do-pufts-overheat/#findComment-1020092 Share on other sites
DyingCrow
PO geysers are not as threatening as they sound. Maybe the PO comes out at 500c as stated, but it cools down immediately to manageable levels.Youll be good by pumping it to a small cold room and let it naturally vent into the puft cell, if you have the 2 wheezers to spare. Unless you want to use more technological, over complicated, power hungry ways, up to you You can even do something simple, like using a single regulator in a small room loop and a thermo sensor to open a door and the gas valve to let more gas in the loop when the temperature is right.
