Tobruk
There is some justified concern on the forum that the addition of so many new geysers/fumaroles/vulcanoes adds a lot of heat to the map. It would all be fine though if those natural features did not produce heat while still buried, so that we can only be worried about their heat production when we decide to unbry them for our own benefit. Is this true?
FIXBUGFIXBUGFIX
I haven't play with new geyser yet, but I think they can't heat up surroundings when they are buried. When they are buried, they stop erupt material. Though these geyser are hot in the beginning, since they are made by abyssalite, they still will not heat up surroundings. Is this true? if they are buried then they are "capped" and won't produce anything, temperature or otherwise
Lutzkhie
they wont be producing anything when buried so no, volcanoes are ice biome destroyers if you dig them up so better encased them in insulated room before making use of them
PhailRaptor
Assuming the new ones work like the old ones, their heat all comes from their products. So while buried, built across, or "overpressure", they do not produce any heat.
