Have you ever moved your base completely?

Recommended Posts

I've moved my base far away from the printing pod many times - you didn't used to be able to disable it, and it would constantly make an annoying sound if a dupe was ready to be printed. If you had enough dupes then you were stuck with it.

I've also built multiple separate bases on the same asteroid independent from each other, but i'm sure we've all done that in some form :D

Have you made a thread about it? Do you have any pictures? Or save files? Could be so kind and share with us some things about these bases?

I'm in my first game where I've crossed the 1k cycles.

I always tell myself i will make a new colony now, then i play a little more and forget all about starting over.

I don't move my base, i tear it all down, put up a temporary base next to it, and then rebuild the main base. Atleast that's what I've done so far...

I normally move my base into an ice biome and use the natural abyssalite for insulation (and aesthetics). Though this time I've build my base over to the right of start and then tore down my first spot and built over it.

I normally like leaving an abandoned base though, like fully constructed as a, "We used to live here."

Nice, do you have any pictures of that base?
