CleanOnion
Currently the game displays "mcg" for micrograms of a gas This should be changed to the more correct "μg"
AileTheAlien
Even just "ug" would be fine, if the game doesn't support unicode. (is that symbol unicode? whatever ASCII 4 LYFE!)
Kasuha
AFAIK the game doesn't run in unicode, that might be the main reason why the "μ" character is avoided. But honestly I'd prefer "ug" over "mcg", the first time I saw it I read it "milli-centigrams" (i.e. 10 μg units) and thought what the hell is that. storm6436
You too, eh? Been working on a physics degree these last few years and the moment I saw "mcg" I was like "What the heck is mcg? mili-centigrams? Huh?" I'm such a nerd.
Saturnus
I've actually requested the same several times before. The SI convention is to use µg obviously but if you cannot use that then you use ug. Never ever use mcg which is an entirely different obsolete empirical unit previously used exclusively in the US pharmaceutical industry before they made the switch to using real SI units. A mcg is (or more accurately, was) actually 10µg to make the confusion total.
Kasuha
Maybe devs could consider switching to nkg. At least it's accurate and doesn't invelve greek characters.
The Plum Gate
I understood that measurment - They could just do away with it entirely and display the decimal points like they do with temperature. I've seen 0.00024 F, why not 0.004Kg or something similar 0.1 g - could be reserved for the pointer tool tips only. Units currently displayed in mcg could be displayed in terms of decimal milligrams. so 26 mcg or µg would be 0.0026 mg
