MikoFanboy Posted January 31, 2018 Share Posted January 31, 2018 [English is not my first language so I'm sorry if I misspelled some words] I have some problems with the Year of the Gobbler Because I live in Vietnam so I know quite a lot about Lunar new year When Klei added the Year of the Gobbler, it caused a lot of problems in the Lunar New Year, there is the thing called "animal zodiac" it is a repeating cycle of 12 years, with each year being represented by an animal and its reputed attributes in order, the 12 animals are: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Pig. Each year is associated with a zodiac animal. last year is the year of Rooster (or Year of the Gobbler ) and 2018 is the year of the Dog. you can't celebrate the year of the rooster while it's the year of the dog so I have a few ideas: +) Replaces "Year of the Gobbler" to "Lunar Year" +) Remove Gobbler Shrine and replace it with "mini-shrine" (you name it) It is a mini-shrine but no statue +) add the block of gold (requires 8 Gold Nuggets), what you do with it is put it on a Potter's Wheel to craft an animal statue for the shrine (like Gobbler Shrine,Vargling Shrine,...) +) add "toy ball", it's like the Silly Monkey Ball in SW but this ball for Hound :V ---------------- All the shrines of each animal have a special item of that animal eg: Lucky Fan for Gobbler Shrine, Toy Ball for Vargling shrine,...) This year it'll likely be called "Year of the Hound" or something similar. Not sure what other changes they'll make. They could be similar to yours or completely different, revamping all the event structures and items.
