Easier then what?
You can build a slimefarm to get free algae, but i suggest to use electrolysers to get O²
Here is the most used, worldwide well known Perlator mini V2 Ecoperlator2.thumb.jpg.42b9035f3d15460a5b86e26deeef686c.jpg, it solves some problems

Here's the most elegant design in the universe (period) :D

Use it wisely, it produces magnificent amount of oxgen, removes the hydrogen effectively, and is pleasing to the eye.

(hydrogen generators work as hydrogen removers)

You "accidentally" posted the wrong picture!
Perlator V2 Maxi, is the legendary and most elegant design in the universe! (followed by mini) (got just fresh statistics!

You can also use morbs to generate polluted O2, but that isn't simple.  You can also sublimate polluted water by compressing it, but that is also quite complicated.

If there aren't too many people in your colony, I would feed hot steam geyser water in to the electrolyzers.  If you put enough pumps around them, they will produce enough O2 for 7-8 dupes.  One steam geyser can produce enough water to provide oxygen for 35 duplicants comfortably, which is more than enough for a standard playthrough.   Careful about the heat.  The o2 and h2 come out at 70C (158 F).  Don't bother cooling the water though, because that output temperature is fixed.  You can feed the h2 in to a hydrogen generator for free electricity (which doesn't follow the 1st law of thermodynamics, but nothing in this game does anyway).
