[Suggestion] Medical Checkups

Right now, we can monitor the Immune system of all duplicant's at will. There is not really a logic behind that. How about this:

Rather than being able to see the immune status all the time, the status of the immune system of a duplicant could be only revealed by "medical checkups". The data in the Immune stats would feature the data from the latest check.

This "checkup" done by other dupes should take some time, of course the "Medicine" skill would speed up the process.

The "Medicine" skill is pretty useless for me right now, because in most of my playthroughs, I manage to not get a single dupe infected. Such a system would emphasize more on this specific skill.

 

This seems like a nice suggestion.

I'd also like to add that feels odd that dupes will assume almost any task automatically, but will not visit the medbay, unless asked so. Even on 1 HP, they will bravely work in the mines.

The same applies for hitting a certain infection threshold. It should be configurable (and maybe even affected by traits) when dupes visit the doctor (hp loss, infection ratio).

As someone who has a dedicated colony physician who spends 99.99% of his time staring at the wall of his medbay, I'd love to see something like this implemented.  Priority for the med cot and an internal timer could determine when dupes come by for a checkup, performing the checkup could increase a dupe's medicine skill (currently only leveled by treating sick dupes, which is something we go out of our way to prevent happening), etc.
