(Spoiler?)How can I find Wilbur's raft?

I've been searching for quite a while, but I have been unsuccessful. I can't use console commands, because I play on xbox, so I have to do this legit. (Unless you know of any cheat codes...)

So what tips do you have for me?

he is at see just explore large water bodies and be patient.

Personally, I found him near one of my islands that I was planning on living on. I suggest filling your map out to the best of your ability and checking out places you haven't filled in yet. He could be hiding in undiscovered parts of the map. It will be tedious, but if you have any of the ship items that boost your speed, the process should go a bit faster.

All of the times I have ever found him, his raft was in the shallows near an island so I would suggest starting there and fully exploring the shallows around all of your islands.  Good luck!  I hope you find him soon.

As others have said, I usually find him near an island. I would search the shallows before the deep, could just be coincidental though. His icon is tiny though so any gaps in the map could be where he's at.

Fill out your map. If you're having trouble with that, try building a bunch of spyglasses to speed up the process. Otherwise, if you've scouted out every island in your world then I'd suggest just going into the deeper sea as well.
