Once Winter's Feast is over you will have to wait presumably till next Winter's Fast which's unknown if there ever may be one ever again to get these Snowfallen skins, basically if you want the skins you need to buy them while there's still a Winter's Feast . Dekay Posted December 28, 2017 Share Posted December 28, 2017 Probably because the event is still active, I haven’t seen anyone mention getting any forge items through the curio chest during the winters feast event. Which you would expect if your hypothesis is correct since both events had event specific cosmetics. Event items are available in the classic curio chest. The "Snowfallen" and "Winter" collection items are only available to get during the season. Dreamscape18459 Posted December 28, 2017 Share Posted December 28, 2017 The system might be bugged as you can currently find Hallowed Nights event items (including elegants) in the Classic Curio's chest. If Klei leaves the system as is then you should be able to find Hallowed Nights/Year of the Gobbler/Winter's Feast event items in future Classic Curio's chests regardless if the event is active or not. JoeW has said that the new Elegant costumes would only drop during Hallowed Nights but nothing about other Hallowed Nights items dropping year round so the current system might be working as intended. (I haven't personally witnessed the costumes dropping, only other items.) Once Klei is back we can ask if it is intentional to find Hallowed Nights items in the Classic Curio's chest or if it is a bug. I don't know if a developer said this is intentional behavior so if one has please let me know so I don't file a bug report of the system working as intended. Most of the new event skins have only been available through the in game Klei store or ravelled with spools. They are not tradeable and not usable on the Steam community market. We still get some new skins that are tradeable/sell able on the market. You can check if a skin is marketable in game by looking for the Steam logo when examining it. Alternatively you can use Steams inventory filters to filter between marketable and non marketable items. This requires you to own the item however.
