Puka_Picante
It would be great to have a Multiplayer mode, it would be weird for some users, but great to anothers Like, 2 people start in a world and they start far away, they have to work until they 2 connect again, so they can help eachother with resources, food, etc.
AlexRou
Devs have said there will not be multiplayer in ONI. If you want to suggest a new standalone ONI multiplayer game go ahead but not for the current game.
Queron81
A multiplayer mode would have to be a complete different game, something more like Don't Starve Together (everyone is playing only one dupe and control him direct). In ONI you can't handle multiplayer. You have to pause the game or speed it up, that is not possible, if two persons are playing in one game. And what about the ressources laying on the ground, where should they belong to? When the other player is offline, what will happen to his base and his dupes? They will never be a multiplayer in ONI, because it is not possible. Maybe just something like in SimCity (2013), but that wasn't really a multiplayer mode, just possible Interactions between different games (but i don't see interactions between different ONI games).
